Skip Preble is President of Land Analytics, LLC . Skip is committed to getting at the core of what it is that makes a real estate project work.  He provides his clients with a thorough analysis of their plans and projects and delivers solutions focused on maximizing profits and creating  environments that are truly sustainable (both economically and environmentally). He has diverse real estate experience including acquisitions, master planned community development, land development, residential and light commercial construction, as well as valuation, feasibility and marketability analysis.  His specialties include economic and business analysis for development projects, appraisal/valuation analysis, real estate market research, master planned communities, mixed use development, and sustainable land development.

He has always believed that advanced  education using the latest technological tools is one of the best ways to stay ahead of, and make adjustments for an ever changing economic environment. Toward this end, he received his DealBuilder consultant certification in 1998 and become one of  four certified DealBuilder consultants and one of two certified DealBuilder trainers in the United States. DealBuilder is a software program developed specifically for the land development and home building  industry. In order to meet the needs of his clients with income and mixed-use properties, he became a certified instructor for Argus Discounted Cash Flow software in 2011 .  He  has received both the MAI and the CCIM designations, is a Texas State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and Real Estate Broker.  His love of learning about the world of real estate started when he was very young; he was only 18 when he passed the Real Estate Broker’s Exam and become a licensed broker in the state of Texas. Skip has an undergraduate degree in Economics with a finance minor, and a Master’s degree in Land and Real Estate Economics, both from Texas A&M University.

Skip has continued to develop his own knowledge and expertise, and enjoys passing on this knowledge to his clients over the course of the client engagement. He also believes in serving the real estate development community by writing for various real estate publications, serving as a member of the Board of Directors for Sustainable Land Development International, and speaking at builder conventions and sustainable development symposiums. He volunteers his time as a guest lecturer to teach graduate students in Land Economics and Real Estate classes at the prestigious Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. He has written curriculum for both introductory and advanced classes on the use of discounted cash flow analysis in real estate development.
